Ibrahima Konate has insisted he is not on the verge of joining Liverpool with the RB Leipzig defender adamant that he has had no contact with Jürgen Klopp’s side.
The France Under-21s international was first heavily linked to the Reds last month and is on their shortlist of potential centre-back signings this summer.
However, reports suggesting he has agreed to move to Anfield or undergone personal terms appear to be wide of the mark.
